Welcome to the 3rd Annual Get Your Mitts on This! – an annual online silent auction, benefiting Mittens for Detroit
We are glad you are here to get ahead of the rush and do some holiday shopping... and maybe getting yourself a little something special!
If you were a bidder last year, welcome back! If you are new this year, it's great to meet you!
Our past two Get Your Mitts on This! online silent auctions raised an amazing $23,500 combined! The online silent auction format allows you to attend our fundraiser on your own time. No getting dressed up, getting a sitter, paying for parking, standing around a silent auction table trying to see what someone is intentionally blocking from everyone's view.... In other words, you'll have the time and comfort to really enjoy this silent auction... and share it with your friends! We hope you will find our selection of items fun and interesting... and absolutely irresistable!

Bidding
- Bidding opens at 12:00pm on Thursday, 11/2/23 and closes at 8pm on Sunday, 11/12/23 (Eastern Time).

Sales and Item Redemption

All sales are final. Please be sure to read all of the item descriptions, expiration dates, and restrictions. These cannot be changed, and there are no refunds. If you have any questions about an item, please email us at Info@MittensForDetroit.org... before bidding! Please use this as the subject: "Question about Item #___" (share the item number).

Item descriptions indicate how you can receive your item. Pick up will be scheduled upon winning the bid, and you'll receive an email with more information on that. Pick up will be available in Southfield or Detroit, Michigan.
- Items that are eligible to be shipped will not be charged for shipping by USPS. Some items are not eligible for shipping, and that will be noted in the item description.

Please note: If you CAN pick your items up from us, it will allow us to purchase more mittens and gloves as we will not have to spend proceeds on shipping. Thank you!
About Mittens for Detroit
Mittens for Detroit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collects, purchases, and distributes new mittens and gloves to children, teens, and adults in need in Detroit, Michigan, and other nearby underserved cities (currently Highland Park, Hamtramck, Dearborn, and Pontiac). Since 2010, more than one-quarter million pairs have been collected and distributed. The funds from Get Your Mitts on This! will be used to purchase new mittens and gloves as well as for operations.
